Best way to keep bait on the hook. The 6 inch wraps works very well using whole fish such as Scad (Cigar Minnows) Herring, Smelt & Sardines. This mesh bag is designed to cover 2/3rds of the baitfish leaving the tail section exposed to give the bait a more realistic appearance. It is recommend the whole fish is inserted head first leaving the tail section exposed. If using with prepared baits or baits such as Chicken Liver for larger game-fish the best hook for this application is the Octopus Beak off-set hook size 6/0. Two hooks in tandem works best.
