Tips for Maximizing Your Catch
Always use the lightest line and weight and smallest hook you think you can get away with. Then adjust
Chum if you have it (highly recommended) but do not over chum, just a hand full at a time
Fish on or near the bottom with a rig of your choice near the chum (if chumming)
Cast near structure, where sheepshead naturally congregate. If there is a current, fish the down current side of structure
If no bite in 45 seconds, lightly lift your bait off the bottom about a foot then slowly let it settle back down
If no fish hook ups in 20 minutes move to next likely spot and repeat process.
